Reel Experience: Summer Moviemaking Camp for Young People
Reel Experience: Moviemaking Camp for Young People offers youth, ages 11-17, the chance to go behind-the-scenes and learn what is involved in creating a movie. The two-week session will introduce campers to the basics of planning and producing a short video, under the guidance and supervision of qualified graduates of Sheridan Institute's Post-Graduate Advanced Television and Film Program. The first week campers will be given basic training in scriptwriting, directing, camera and editing. In the second week campers will apply what they have learned when they are given the chance to work as a team and create a short video. All campers will get their name in the credits and a copy of the project to take home.
